david lau
David Lau's first book of poems, Virgil and the Mountain Cat, is being published this spring by UC Press. David teaches writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College. He is the co-editor of Lana Turner: a Journal of Poetry and Opinion.
josef kaplan
Josef Kaplan's work has appeared in Shampoo, Luzmag, West Wind Review and Lana Turner. He edits Sustainable Aircraft, an online journal of critical writing on contemporary poetry, and lives in Washington Heights.
dan machlin
Dan Machlin is currently completing a booklength series of performance texts which he recently read from lying down in a tent in Chicago. He is the author of Dear Body: from Ugly Duckling Presse 2007, which was supported by a "Face Out" emerging writers grant from CLMP/Jerome Foundation, "6x7" (UDP) and "This Side Facing You" (Heart Hammer). With Singer/Cellist Serena Jost he has produced an audio CD "Above Islands" (Immanent Audio) and recently performed at the Delancey's "Small Beast" series and Poetry Project. Dan is the founder and editor of Futurepoem books.
macgregor card
Macgregor Card is a poet, translator and editor living in Brooklyn. Recent poems have appeared in The Recluse, Fence, The Columbia Review, The Brooklyn Rail, Arsenal, Poesie, Aufgabe and Puppyflowers. Duties of An English Foreign Secretary will be published in fall 2009 by Fence Books.
