He has an MFA in Writing/Interdisciplinary Studies from Bard College; is a Cave Canem Writers Fellow; and is a 2005 Fellow in Poetry, New York Foundation for the Arts. His recent essays on poetry have been published in the literary journal American Poet, and the anthology A Best of Fence: The First Nine Years. He will be a guest faculty member in the Naropa University Summer Writing Program 2009, at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" &gt;bill rasmovicz&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bill Rasmovicz&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt; is a graduate of the Vermont College MFA in Writing Program and Temple University School of Pharmacy. He has served as a workshop co-leader and literary excursion leader throughout Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, England and Wales. His poems have appeared in Hotel Amerika, Nimrod, Mid-American Review, Third Coast, and other publications, and his book, &lt;a href="http://www.alicejamesbooks.org/world_place.html"&gt;The World in Place of Itself&lt;/a&gt;,  published by Alice James Books, was also the recipient of the New England Poetry Club's 2008 Sheila Margaret Motton Prize.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" &gt;sam truitt&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sam Truitt&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:78%;"&gt; is the author of Vertical Elegies: Three Works (UDP, 2008), Vertical Elegies 5: The Section (Georgia, 2003) Anamorphosis Eisenhower (Lost Roads, 1998) and Street Mete: A Work in Vertical Elegies (forthcoming, Palm, 2009). His work has also been anthologized in A Best Of Fence: The First Nine Years (Fence, 2009), The Best American Poetry 2 002 (Scribner), and American Poetry: The Next Generation (Carnegie Mellon, 2000), and his poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Denver Quarterly, &lt;a href="http://bostonreview.net/BR26.3/truitt.html"&gt;Boston Review&lt;/a&gt;, Explosive, Jacket, Talisman, Tool, Coconut and First Intensity, among other print and online journals. His critical writing and reviews have appeared in Fulcrum, Interim, and the American Book Review, among other publications. His works of visual poetry have been exhibited at the Rothstein Gallery, Tonic, and the St. Marks Poetry Project (see www.ubu.com). His writing is in a semi-permanent installation at the Paramount Hotel’s Whiskey Bar at Times Square in New York City. He received a 1995 Fund for Poetry grant and has been awarded residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell and Vermont Studio Center. Truitt was the recipient of the 2002 Contemporary Poetry Series Award from the University of Georgia Press. He holds an MFA from Brown and a PhD from University at Albany, where he teaches in addition to teaching at Siena College and Bard College.
