Ish Klein is the author of the poetry books Moving Day and Union! published by Canarium Press. A compilation of her recent videos, entitled Success Window, has been released by Poor Claudia of Portland, Oregon. She's from Long Beach, New York but now lives in Amherst, MA with the writer Greg Purcell. Together they record the poetry podcast called No Slander.

Greg Purcell's poetry has appeared in Fence, Open City, The Brooklyn Rail and The Agriculture Reader, and has been anthologized in A Best of Fence: The First 9 Years. He lives in Amherst, and with Ish Klein he records The No Slander Podcast.

Matt Hart is the author of the poetry collections Who's Who Vivid (Slope Editions, 2006), Wolf Face (H_NGM_N BKS 2010), and Light-Headed (BlazeVOX, 2011). A fourth collection Sermons and Lectures Both Blank and Relentless will be published by Typecast in 2012. He lives in Cincinnati, where he is a co-founder and editor of Forklift, Ohio: A Journal of Poetry, Cooking, & Light Industrial Safety and the Poet-in-Resistance at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

Guy Pettit lives in Northampton, MA. He has a chapbook, Love Me or Love Me NO1, published by minutes BOOKS. Currently, he directs Flying Object Center for Independent Publishing⎯non-profit bookstore, gallery and letterpress, which he founded in 2010. He is a co-editor for Factory Hollow Press and the online journal notnostrums.

Ben Mirov grew up in Northern California. He is the author of Ghost Machine (Caketrian, 2010) and the chapbooks Vortexts (SUPERMACHINE, 2011), I is to Vorticism (New Michigan Press, 2010), Collected Ghost (H_NGM_N, 2010).

Danica Colic was raised in Queens and earned her MFA at Hunter College. She is the author of the chapbook Sufficience (Love Among the Ruins). Her poems have most recently appeared in Fugue, Nimrod, and Pebble Lake Review. She lives in Brooklyn, where she manages Pequena on Vanderbilt, a Mexican Restaurant.

Samita Sinha is a vocal artist and composer who combines tradition with experiment to create new forms, drawing from a deep grounding in North Indian classical music, a contemporary vocabulary, folk and ritual music, and songs and texts in several languages. She has collaborated with poets (Sekou Sundiata, Fiona Templeton) and jazz musicians (Marc Cary, Sunny Jain), and is currently performing her solo work, Cipher. Sinha received her MFA in Music/ Sound from Bard, and has received awards from NYSCA, Urban Artists Initiative, Queens Council on the Arts, and the Fulbright Foundation.

Christopher Salerno’s books of poems include Minimum Heroic (Mississippi Review Poetry Series Award, 2010), and Whirligig (Spuyten Duyvil, 2006). A chapbook, ATM is available from Horse Less Press. Recent poems can be found in journals such as Denver Quarterly, Boston Review, American Letters and Commentary, Black Warrior Review, and elsewhere. Currently, he’s an Assistant Professor of English at William Paterson University.

Stephanie Strickland is a print and new media poet. Her prize-winning print volumes include V: WaveSon.nets / Losing L’una, True North, and The Red Virgin: A Poem of Simone Weil. Digital works include True North, Errand, Vniverse, and two, Ballad of Sand and Harry Soot and slippingglimpse, whose scores appear in her fifth book, Zone : Zero (Ahsahta, 2008). Sea and Spar Between, a poetry generator written with Nick Montfort, just appeared in Dear Navigator, a new journal of electronic literature from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

A director of the Electronic Literature Organization, she edited the first volume of the Electronic Literature Collection with Kate Hayles, Nick Montfort, and Scott Rettberg. She also co-edited an issue of the Iowa Review Web, featuring two Flashartists, and has taught hypermedia literature as part of experimental poetry at many colleges and universities, most recently in the PhD poetry program at the University of Utah. She lives in New York City.

Mary Austin Speaker is the author of two chapbooks—In the End There Were Thousands of Cowboys, and Abandoning the Firmament, (Menagerie Editions 2009 & 2010). She is co-curator and founder of Triptych Readings (www.triptychreadings.com) in NYC, poet laureate of F.E.A.S.T. (http://feastinbklyn.org/), and works as an art director, designing books for Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Her work can be found in recent or upcoming issues of Iowa Review, Boston Review, H_NGM_N, New Orleans Review, Gray Tape, Mrs. Maybe and elsewhere. In previous iterations, she was poetry editor of Indiana Review, co-curator of Readings Between A&B, and taught creative writing at Indiana University. Jess Mynes is the author of several published works, including, How's the Cows (Cannot Exist Press) and Sky Brightly Picked (Skysill Press:). His One Anthem will be published by Pressed Wafer Press in 2011. He is the editor of Fewer & Further Press and he co-curates a reading series in Western, MA, All Small Caps.

Stephen Motika is the editor of Tiresias: The Collected Poems of Leland Hickman (2009) and the author of the poetry chapbooks Arrival and At Mono (2007) and In the Madrones (2011). His first book, Western Practice, is forthcoming from Alice James Books. Recent work has appeared in The Brooklyn Review, Eleven Eleven, The Boog City Reader 4, and The Poetry Project Newsletter. The Field, his collaboration with visual artist Dianna Frid, was on view at Gallery 400 at the University of Illinois, Chicago, in 2003. Motika is the program director at Poets House and publisher of Nightboat Books.

Arlo Quint is the author of Drawn In (Fewer & Further), Photogenic Memory (Lame House) and Days on End (Open 24 Hours). He's Program Coordinator for The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church and co-edits Brawling Pigeon.

PAUL LEGAULT's poems have appeared in Denver Quarterly, Maggy, Supermachine, and other journals. He is the co-founder and co-editor of the translation journal Telephone. His first book, The Madeleine Poems, is just out from Omnidawn.

CATE MARVIN's first book of poems, World's Tallest Disaster, was chosen by Robert Pinsky for the 2000 Kathryn A. Morton Prize and published by Sarabande Books in 2001. In 2002, she received the Kate Tufts Discovery Prize. Her second book of poems, Fragment of the Head of a Queen, also published by Sarabande, appeared in 2007. A 2007 Whiting Award recipient and NYFA Gregory Millard Fellow, she co-edited with poet Michael Dumanis the anthology Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century (Sarabande, 2006). Marvin is an associate professor in English at the College of Staten Island, CUNY, and teaches in Columbia University's MFA program, as well as the low-residency M.F.A. program in creative writing at Lesley University. She lives in Staten Island, NY, and is Co-Director, with poet Erin Belieu, of VIDA: Women in Literary Arts (vidaweb.org).

BIANCA STONE is co-curator of Ladder Reading Series and editor of Monk Books. Her most publications include Crazyhorse, The Green Mountain Review, Agriculture Reader, and Conduit. SHONNI ENELOW's recent projects include her solo performance piece, "My Dinner with Bernard Frechtman," a new work of theater on ecology and ecocide, and her PhD in Comparative Literature. She lives in Brooklyn.

KRISTEN KOSMAS is an American playwright and performer. Her plays and solo performances have been produced in Seattle, Austin, Boston, Chicago, and in New York City at numerous venues including the Prelude festival, Peformance Space 122, Dixon Place, Little Theater, Barbès, and the Ontological/Hysteric Downstairs Series. Her play Hello Failure was recently published by Ugly Duckling Presse, and her multi-voice performance text This From Cloudland appears in the latest issue of “PLAY A Journal of Plays.”

NATHANIEL OTTING is a sub-sub librarian for minutes BOOKS and Walser & Company, both based at Flying Object in Hadley, MA. Also, he is writing The Wrong Book.

STACY SZYMASZEK was born in Milwaukee, WI. Seth Landman lives in Denver, CO where he edits Invisible Ear, a journal and chapbook series. Corina Copp hails from Kansas and Colorado. Todd Colby is a poet, lyricist and actor. dmitry golynko

Born in Leningrad in 1969 , Dmitry Golynko, has become one of the most innovative poets in Russia today, examining the relationships between post-Soviet language, culture, and society. Nominated for the Andrey Bely Prize, Golynko’s is the author of Homo Scribens, Directory, and Concrete Doves. He is an editor at Moscow Art Magazine and the creator of the literary site Literaturnaya Promoza. Recently released by Ugly Duckling Presse, As It Turned Out is his debut in English, translated by Eugene Ostashevsky, Rebecca Bella and Simona Schneider.

regan good

Regan Good is the author of The Book of Nature (UDP 2009) and The Imperfect (Westown Press 2005). Good is a graduate of Barnard College and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop where she was a Maytag Fellow. Her poems have appeared in the Paris Review, Antioch Review, New Letters, American Letters & Commentary, Fence, Exquisite Corpse, Lit, Cue and other journals. In 2001 she was poetry fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and has been awarded residences at Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, and other colonies.

Lawrence Giffin's poems have appeared in 6x6, Cannot Exist, Glitter Pony, Invisible Ear, Model Homes, and Skein. He is the author of the chapbook-length poem Get the Fuck Back Into That Burning Plane (2009 UDP). As a member of the publishing collective Lil' Norton, Lawrence Giffin is the series editor of the journal The Physical Poets Home Library. Giffin also compiles an ongoing work of social philosophy composed of entries copied and pasted from newspaper comment streams entitled Comment Is Free. A kind of historical novel, Aa, coauthored with Fernando Diaz, is forthcoming from Patrick Lovelace Editions.

David Lau's first book of poems, Virgil and the Mountain Cat, is being published this spring by UC Press. David teaches writing at the University of California, Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College. He is the co-editor of Lana Turner: a Journal of Poetry and Opinion.

Dan Machlin is currently completing a booklength series of performance texts which he recently read from lying down in a tent in Chicago. He is the author of Dear Body: from Ugly Duckling Presse 2007, which was supported by a "Face Out" emerging writers grant from CLMP/Jerome Foundation, "6x7" (UDP) and "This Side Facing You" (Heart Hammer). christopher stackhouse

Writer/visual artist Christopher Stackhouse is the author of poetry collected in the chapbook Slip (Corollary Press, 2005); and co-author of Seismosis (1913 Press, 2006), a dialogic collaboration featuring Stackhouse's drawings and text by writer John Keene, with essays from poet Ed Roberson and poet/critic Geoffrey Jacques. He has an MFA in Writing/Interdisciplinary Studies from Bard College; is a Cave Canem Writers Fellow; and is a 2005 Fellow in Poetry, New York Foundation for the Arts. His recent essays on poetry have been published in the literary journal American Poet, and the anthology A Best of Fence: The First Nine Years. He will be a guest faculty member in the Naropa University Summer Writing Program 2009, at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics in Boulder, Colorado. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

bill rasmovicz

Bill Rasmovicz is a graduate of the Vermont College MFA in Writing Program and Temple University School of Pharmacy. He has served as a workshop co-leader and literary excursion leader throughout Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, England and Wales. His poems have appeared in Hotel Amerika, Nimrod, Mid-American Review, Third Coast, and other publications, and his book, The World in Place of Itself, published by Alice James Books, was also the recipient of the New England Poetry Club's 2008 Sheila Margaret Motton Prize.

Sam Truitt is the author of Vertical Elegies: Three Works (UDP, 2008), Vertical Elegies 5: The Section (Georgia, 2003) Anamorphosis Eisenhower (Lost Roads, 1998) and Street Mete: A Work in Vertical Elegies (forthcoming, Palm, 2009). His work has also been anthologized in A Best Of Fence: The First Nine Years (Fence, 2009), The Best American Poetry 2 002 (Scribner), and American Poetry: The Next Generation (Carnegie Mellon, 2000), and his poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Denver Quarterly, Boston Review, Explosive, Jacket, Talisman, Tool, Coconut and First Intensity, among other print and online journals. His critical writing and reviews have appeared in Fulcrum, Interim, and the American Book Review, among other publications. His works of visual poetry have been exhibited at the Rothstein Gallery, Tonic, and the St. Marks Poetry Project (see www.ubu.com). His writing is in a semi-permanent installation at the Paramount Hotel’s Whiskey Bar at Times Square in New York City. He received a 1995 Fund for Poetry grant and has been awarded residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell and Vermont Studio Center. Truitt was the recipient of the 2002 Contemporary Poetry Series Award from the University of Georgia Press. He holds an MFA from Brown and a PhD from University at Albany, where he teaches in addition to teaching at Siena College and Bard College. Truitt was born in Washington, DC, and raised there and in Tokyo, Japan, and currently lives in Catskill, NY, with Kim Jaye, and their two daughters, Indiana and Evangeline.
